How to measure
- Wrap a soft tape measure around the fullest part of your chest or bust, arms relaxed at your sides.
- Keep the tape level all the way round, including across your back.
- Hold it snug but not tight, and breathe normally.
No tape measure? Use a piece of string, mark where it meets, then measure the string against a ruler.
Sun protection in the fabric itself
UPF 50+, tested and certified to the Australian standard AS/NZS 4399:1996, means only about 1 in 50 UV rays gets through to your skin. It is woven into the Italian polyester and PBT fibres and the weave rather than a chemical finish, so it cannot wash out or wear off.
Shoulders, arms and neck in certified fabric
A modest swim top that covers the shoulders, upper arms and neck. The high collar reaches up the back and sides of the neck, and the hem sits at the hip to upper thigh.
Swimming, snorkelling and paddleboarding
This is a swim shirt with a zipper to the chest, so it is easy to put on and take off, and you can adjust the airflow with the zip. The close fit stays put in the water.
It resists chlorine and saltwater, holds its shape through repeated use and keeps its full UPF 50+ rating when wet.

What customers ask us
Is it a full zip or a quarter zip?
A quarter zip. The zipper runs to the chest and no further.
Can I adjust the airflow with the zip?
Yes, the quarter-length zip allows adjustable airflow. It also makes the swim shirt easy to put on and take off.
Does it come in plus sizes?
Yes. There are ten sizes, S to 7XL, for a bust of 97 cm up to 142 cm. If you are between two bust sizes, take the larger.
Does it have a built-in bra?
No. The swim shirt is unlined, with no built-in bra or shelf.
Will it keep its shape after lots of swims in chlorine and salt water?
Yes. The Italian fabric resists chlorine and saltwater, holds its shape through repeated use and keeps its full UPF 50+ rating when wet. The protection is in the fibres and the weave, rather than a chemical finish, so it cannot wash out or wear off. Rinse it in clean water after each swim and hang it to dry in the shade.
Do I still need suncream?
Only on the skin the swim shirt leaves bare: face, ears, forearms, hands and legs. Reapply after swimming. A UPF 50+ legionnaire cap covers the head, ears and neck, and UV swim leggings cover the legs.
Is it suitable for skin cancer patients or a medical condition?
Yes. Certified UPF 50+ cover is often recommended after skin cancers such as basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and melanoma, and for autoimmune conditions such as lupus, scleroderma and dermatomyositis, photosensitivity conditions such as actinic keratosis and vitiligo, genetic conditions such as EPP, ichthyoses and Bloom syndrome, and during chemotherapy, radiotherapy or immunosuppressive treatment. We cannot give medical advice, so follow your dermatologist or consultant on how much cover you need.
