Description
Banz Kids sunglasses give children UV400 protection, blocking 100% of UVA and UVB rays. Category 3 lenses cut glare on bright days at the beach, on the water or in the snow.
The wraparound shape carries that protection round the sides of the eyes, where ordinary sunglasses leave a gap. A neoprene strap with a velcro adjuster holds them on through running about and lets out as they grow.
Frame and lenses are shatter-resistant polycarbonate.
For ages 2 to 5. Three colours: purple, red and blue.

UV400 lenses in a wraparound frame
The lenses block 100% of UVA and UVB. The frame wraps round to the temples, so light coming in from the side is covered as well as light from the front.
Children need this more than adults do
A child’s eye lens is clearer than an adult’s, so more UV reaches the retina. The damage builds over a lifetime, and a good proportion of it happens before the age of eighteen.
A strap instead of arms
Sunglasses with arms come off at the first cartwheel. The neoprene strap goes round the back of the head, so these stay on through the playground and the pool.
The velcro adjuster at the side lets the strap out as they grow, and the polycarbonate frame and lenses are shatter-resistant.
