Front–crotch–back is the measurement that matters most. It decides whether a one-piece suit fits your body length. If it puts you in a larger size than your chest or waist do, take the larger size.
How to measure
- Chest. Around the fullest part of your chest, level with your armholes, arms relaxed at your sides.
- Waist. Around the narrowest part of your middle, just above the belly button.
- Front–crotch–back. Start at the centre front of your neckline, run the tape straight down your body, between your legs, and up to the centre back of your neckline.
- Keep the tape snug but not tight, and breathe normally.
No tape measure? Use a piece of string, mark where it meets, then measure the string against a ruler.
Protection that never needs topping up
Tested and certified UPF 50+ to the Australian standard AS/NZS 4399:1996, so less than 1 in 50 UV rays reach the skin underneath. That sun protection is in the fibres and the density of the weave rather than a chemical finish, so it doesn't wash out, sweat off or need reapplying.
Arms, shoulders and back under one layer
On a board or in the water, your arms, shoulders and back are in the sun for hours. This men's swimsuit with arm coverage puts them under certified fabric from the high collar to just above the knee, with no separate top to ride up when you paddle.
A surf suit that dries off fast
The light stretch fabric fits close like a swimsuit, so it moves with you paddling and swimming without the weight of neoprene.
It resists chlorine and saltwater, keeps its full UPF 50+ rating when wet and is dry shortly after you towel off.

What customers ask us
What is it made of?
The men's Stingray long sleeve sunsuit uses Italian fabric, a blend of 53% polyester and 47% PBT. It is thin and light, unlined, and certified UPF 50+ to AS/NZS 4399:1996.
My chest and body length are in different sizes. Which should I order?
Go with the larger. Front-crotch-back length is what decides the fit of a one-piece, so if it puts you a size above your chest, order by length.
Can I surf in it?
Yes. It fits close like a swimsuit so it moves with you on the board, resists saltwater and keeps its full UPF 50+ rating when wet. The long sleeves cover your arms through a long session, and the fabric dries quickly once you are out.
Will chlorine damage it?
No. This men's UPF 50+ long sleeve swimsuit is chlorine resistant and made for regular pool swimming as well as the sea. Rinse it in clean water after each swim and dry it in the shade.
Do I still need suncream?
Not under the suit. If you were looking for an SPF long sleeve swimsuit, clothing is rated in UPF instead, and this one is UPF 50+. Put suncream on the skin it leaves bare (face, ears, neck above the collar, hands, lower legs and feet) and reapply after swimming.
Will the UV protection wash out?
No. It is woven into the fibre and the weave rather than a chemical finish, so there is nothing to wash out or wear off. Wash cold on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent.
Is it suitable for skin cancer patients or a medical condition?
Yes. Certified UPF 50+ cover is often recommended after skin cancers such as basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and melanoma, and for autoimmune conditions such as lupus, scleroderma and dermatomyositis, photosensitivity conditions such as actinic keratosis and vitiligo, genetic conditions such as EPP, ichthyoses and Bloom syndrome, and during chemotherapy, radiotherapy or immunosuppressive treatment. We cannot give medical advice, so follow your dermatologist or consultant on how much cover you need.
