Description
A ribbon braid sun hat that reads as smart rather than sporty. The Nantucket is built from rows of woven ribbon in a brown and tan stripe, stitched into a soft bell shape, rated UPF 50+ to block over 98% of UV rays.
The ribbon construction is the point: it packs down into a bag without holding the creases, and the gaps between the rows let heat escape on days when a solid crown would feel stifling. The brim sits at 3 inches, enough to shade the face and ears through a long lunch outside.

Ribbon braid folds where a stiff brim would crack. Roll it into a case, pull it out on arrival and it recovers its shape rather than holding the creases.
The internal drawstring means it also stays on your head when the wind picks up, which is the difference between a hat you wear and a hat you carry.

Measure around your head just above the ears. The Nantucket is made to 58 cm, and the hidden internal drawstring draws the fit in from there, so a hat can be made smaller but never bigger. If you are close to 58 cm, this one will fit.
