Description
A packable sun hat built for being outdoors all day. The Explorer is made from lightweight microfibre with a 3.5 inch brim, rated UPF 50+ to block over 98% of UV rays.
The brim has a foam core, so the hat floats if it goes in the water, and the fabric is water repellent and quick drying. Metal eyelets in the crown let air move through on hot days. A chin strap keeps it on in wind, and an internal drawstring adjusts the fit from there.
Packs flat into a case and recovers its shape. One size, 58cm. Hand wash cold.

A 3.5 inch brim in certified UPF 50+ fabric
The brim is 3.5 inches wide and runs the full circumference, covering the face, ears and back of the neck. The foam core holds that shape wet or dry.
The brim has a foam core, so the hat floats
Drop it over the side of a boat and it sits on the surface waiting to be picked up. The microfibre is water repellent and dries quickly, so it comes back from a soaking without going out of shape.
Chin strap, drawstring and eyelets
The chin strap adjusts with a toggle and tucks up inside the crown when you are not using it. Underneath that, an internal drawstring draws the fit in.
Metal eyelets are set into the crown on both sides so air moves through rather than sitting under the hat.
